Help us plant wildflowers around the Chapel St Estate on Wed 23rd April, meet at the Housing Hub by 11am (under Yeovil Court) Hill Street, Brierley Hill, DY5 2SD. Light work clearing weeds and planting seeds, with some refreshments provided for volunteers. Everyone is welcome to join in, children must be accompanied by an adult. Please bring your own gloves, trowels and handrakes if you have them. Some equipment and litter pickers will be provided if needed.

On Saturday 23rd August, 12–4pm, Brierley Hill’s High Street comes alive for EAT the STREET – an inside-out festival of flavour! Explore cafés, bakeries, butchers, delis and stalls serving up ‘Secret Eats’ and off-menu treats, from triple-decker pork sandwiches to shakes, cakes and hidden gems. Don’t miss the exclusive BAMOSA – a Black Country–meets–Taste from India street food fusion, with all proceeds to Sands United FC Dudley. Enjoy live performances from Slick 6 Choir and Kasperia, family food fun at the library, and plenty of spots to picnic. Look for the posters, follow the PINK HI-VIZ pointers, and get ready to eat your way through the High Street!
