Chime A Church Bell

Have you heard the Church Bells ringing on Sunday Morning. On a clear day they can be heard up to 2 miles away!
This is a chance to chime a bell yourself. You will visit the historic ringing room to be greeted by one of our ringers who will, literally, show you the ropes! You will also learn something about the art of bell ringing.

Under careful supervision you will then be given a chance to chime one of the bells yourself. Why not record it for posterity? Share your efforst with your friends and family?

Suitable for ages 5 to 90…but be aware that to reach the ringing room you have to be able to negotiate an unevern stair case (sorry there’s nothing we can do about that.)
