St Mary’s Roman Catholic Church: Pugin, Pipes and Parish Life – Sat 19th September

Discover the history, craftsmanship and living heritage of St Mary’s Roman Catholic Church, a striking Grade II-listed building designed by celebrated Gothic Revival architect E. W. Pugin.
The church will open its doors for visitors to explore its richly decorated interior, intricate wall paintings and colourful stained glass. Guided tours will reveal more about the building’s architecture, spiritual heritage and enduring place within the story of Brierley Hill.
Throughout the day, visitors can explore historic displays in the church and Parish Centre, follow the popular mouse trail and enjoy stained-glass-inspired colouring activities.
Refreshments and homemade cake will be available throughout the event. Hot pork cobs will also be served between 11am and 1pm on a first-come, first-served basis.
