Visit a Bell Ringing Practice

St Michael's Church bells have been ringing over the town for 250 years. This event will give you the opportunity to visit the ringing room with its historic peal boards; to learn how ringers know the different orders in which to ring; and learn all about the art of ringing. You might even be given the chance to chime a bell yourself!

St Michael’s bells ring before service every 2nd and 4th Sunday of the month.

What is it like inside the ringing room during each session. This Facebook Live session will stream from the ringing room for the service ringing.
